Liverpool XI vs AC Milan
Liverpool XI vs AC Milan: Confirmed team news, expected lineup, and latest injuries in the Champions League today.
Arne Slot could hand Federico Chiesa his first appearance for Liverpool tonight against AC Milan in the Champions League. The summer signing missed the squad for Saturday’s home defeat to Nottingham Forest, despite training with his new team during the international break.

Chiesa made the trip to Italy for the match, with Slot confirming in his pre-match press conference that the 26-year-old might start on the bench. Slot explained, “It’s still too soon for him to play a full 90 minutes, but we’re hopeful he can get some minutes in the upcoming games.”
Harvey Elliott will miss out due to a foot injury, but Slot still has plenty of options to choose from. The Dutch coach has a decision to make in attack alongside Mohamed Salah, as Diogo Jota, Luis Díaz, Darwin Núñez, and Cody Gakpo all struggled to make an impact against Forest.
Núñez and Gakpo have had limited roles so far this season, so both might be given a chance to start at San Siro given the short turnaround between matches.
Alexis Mac Allister played just 60 minutes against Forest, but Slot confirmed that the midfielder is ready to start. On Monday, Slot said, “I think he can play for 60 or 90 minutes tomorrow, and we’ll see what decision I make. He’s just as important as the other 22 players.”
Expected Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konaté, Van Dijk, Robertson; Endo, Gravenberch; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Núñez
Injured: Elliott
