Kylian Mbappé’s debut for Real Madrid was everything he could’ve dreamed of: his first goal and his first trophy with the club. After a 2-0 win against Atalanta, which secured the UEFA Super Cup for the Spanish giants, the French star celebrated the achievement and expressed how seamless it is to connect with his new attacking partner, Vinícius Júnior.

In an interview broadcast on “BBC,” he said, “It’s easy to play with him. We have a lot of top-class players at Real Madrid, which is fantastic. It’s a joy to play alongside Viní, Bellingham, and Rodrygo, all of them,” he shared with “TNT Sports.”

Modrić has now secured the most titles in Real Madrid’s history.

Real Madrid further cemented their status as the ultimate UEFA Super Cup champions, while Mbappé described winning his first European title in his debut match for the club as a “magical night,” having scored one of the goals in the victory in Warsaw.

“It was a magical night. I’ve always dreamed of nights like these, and today it became a reality. It’s incredible, I’m really happy with the result. I even managed to score. For a striker, that’s perfect.”

The French No. 9 emphasized how his new teammates have been “amazing” in helping him settle into his new country.

“I arrived being myself, settling in naturally, and I’m getting to know everyone.” They’re fantastic and are helping me adapt. All I need to focus on is football, and I know how to do that.”
